Initial Enquiry

When you call or email for a quote, we ask that you let the Space Wise Furniture staff know the following information about the installation site

  • Is the installation in a ground floor location?

  • Space Wise Furniture wallbeds have large panels. Are there any narrow stairways/hallways/lifts that may impede the transporting of the panels to the installation location?

  • Is there parking available at the location?

  • Will there be other workers at the location on the installation day? (Is the location a building worksite?)

  • Are there any power-points, light switches or Foxtel/cable/phone outlets that may be in way of the installation?


  • Products with cabinets are made to order - we require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering with the balance due on the day of installation, or, for Do-It-Yourself Installations, seven (7) days prior to delivery. Mechanism Only orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch.

  • Deposit may be forfeited in part if order is cancelled prior to commencement of manufacturing and in total if order is cancelled after the commencement of manufacturing.

  • Payment can be made by Cash, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)/Direct Deposit, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

  • Personal and bank cheques are accepted as payments but must be cleared before dispatch services can be scheduled - this can take up to 7 working days.


  • Products sold inclusive of installation are generally delivered by Space Wise Furniture on the day of installation.

  • Delivery services for Mechanism Only products and Do-It-Yourself Installations are performed by an external company - delivery can only be scheduled once all payments are cleared. While Space Wise Furniture is not responsible for delays in delivery, we will endeavour as much as possible to facilitate a timely delivery.

  • Delivery times are from Monday-Friday only - no weekend deliveries are available.

  • If receiving the delivery at the installation location, please ensure that it is stored out of the weather.


Please ensure that the following is completed prior to installation:

  • Clear the installation area of all items:

    • We will not be responsible for moving: breakables, vases, knick-knacks, clothes, shoes, glassware, wall hangings, pictures, aquariums, animal litter, plants, personal items, jewellery, cash, collectables, CD’s, electronics, pianos, musical instruments or any unidentifiable objects. Please remember to move personal items from cupboards, wardrobes, and shelving where necessary.

    • Installation can cause extensive dust, please cover any fixtures you wish to keep clean if this is a concern.

    • If you fail to clear the installation area and it becomes necessary for Space Wise Furniture installers to move your furniture, we will take the utmost care, however Space Wise Furniture is not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result. If removal of existing furniture is required, there will be additional fees charged - contact us for more information.

  • Space Wise Furniture installers are not qualified to relocate/remove power-points, light switches or Foxtel/cable/phone outlets that may be in way of the installation. These must be relocated by a qualified electrician prior to the installation date. If you would like one of the above incorporated into the bed cabinet/side cabinets, you will need to discuss with us. Please be aware that this will involve additional costs.

  • An adult aged 18 years or over must be at the premises at all times during the installation. Children must be kept clear of the installation room/area.

  • Pets must be confined to a room away from the installation area (or outside).

  • It may be necessary for your door(s) to be left open for periods of time as we load/unload our vehicle; please be aware we are not responsible for items left unsecured.

Please note that:

  • Space Wise Furniture cannot guarantee specific amount of time required for your installation.

  • Space Wise Furniture is not responsible for 'lost time' or financial compensation due to installation delays.

  • Space Wise Furniture will confirm the installation details with you verbally 2 days prior to the booking. If there are any issues or there is a need to reschedule please confirm by 5PM on the day of this confirmation call. Any rescheduling after this time may attract a call-out fee.
